Wild and Free Altered Boat with Letters

Hey Hey everyone :)
Back today with another share for Prima Marketing! My 2nd term for
the regular DT is almost up! Crazy how time flies! But i will still be on Live With Prima
so it's not quite goodbye :) This project is just being shown, but it was created in January!
Funny how things just get "lost" or forgotten . I had created for CHA, so if you were
there and visited the Prima booth you may have seen it! I used the
ever so BEAUTIFUL Wild and Free collection. One of my all time favorites!
So i wanted to do the initials for the collection, then I decided to add them to a boat ;)
Why not? Lol. This was the result! Lots of fussy cutting of course!
I am a lover of fussy cutting, I just think it brings so much to a project, and
I know lots of people don't like to do it, but for me it's heaven :)
The first thing I do when i get a new set of papers is see what can be fussy cut!
Check out the Prima blog HERE to see what the other gals created with
this gorgeous collection! All of the supplies are pictured at the bottom, just click
the picture and you can shop right away at Scrapbook.com. Hugs and love
to all of you! xoxoxoxo

Grungy Wooden Tag for Um Wow Studios

Hello creative people! I didn't announce it on my blog yet,
and I am super psyched to announce I am now designing for Um Wow Studios!
DeeDee is AMAZING, and i can't begin to say how much she inspires me !
So to work with her and her products is a dream come true.
Then look at the talent on this team??!!? My goodness! These gals are so inspiring,
and I am just tickled to be a part of it!  Today is my first post on their blog
Um Wow Studios Blog
I had created a wooden tag very similar to this a few months ago,
however it was sent out to a trade show and came back
all messed up. I couldn't bare to trash it, so I decided to give it some
extra love and a remake! Enter Um Wow :)
What can I say.....DeeDee makes the best products! I even used her new
range with 7 dots! Squeal!

I kept the colors pretty monochromatic with just browns, hints of gold.
I love using alcohol inks and gold foil! 2 of my favorite mediums! Staples for me!
And the chipboard took them so well!

I used the new stencil for Dreamscapes by DeeDee for 7 Dots on the "P", using micro beads and
matte gel. Of course it was covered in alcohol ink afterwards :)

These butterfly wings are BEYOND gorgeous! I gold foiled them and the background
hexagon and then highlighted with more alcohol ink. That was pretty much the technique
through out the piece ;)

Lastly for my title I just had to add one of the gorgeous crowns! If you are putting on
a cape to fly, throw on a crown too hehe! It blends a bit in the photos
but in person it is lovely.

And Just a close up of the ribbon and rope tied to the top, extra grungy of course .

I hope you like my project! I will be back to share a tutorial and new project soon! Hugs!
